With
a History and pedigree dating back to 1828, Eley shotgun ammunition has
earned a worldwide reputation for reliability, consistency and above all
unequalled quality.
For over 100 years Eley shotgun ammunition was manufactured at the historical
IMI site at Witton, Birmingham under the IMI group banner. In 2002 Eley
shotgun ammunition was purchased by the UEE group, one of Europes
largest manufacturers of Explosives and shotgun ammunition. The intention
of UEE was simple: to grow and develop Britains oldest shotgun ammunition
manufacturer into a world leader without losing Eleys identity of
a British Company. To this day all Eley shotgun ammunition is manufactured
in England to the exacting qualities demanded by shooters worldwide.
With the purchase of Eley Hawk came considerable investment, and in March
2003 Eley shotgun Ammunition moved 8 miles North of Witton to a new site
at Minworth, Sutton Coldfield more suited to the growth of Eley Shotgun
Ammunition and a new chapter in the history of Britains oldest cartridge
manufacturer has begun. |
